Targeted at all health professionals with an interest in melanoma, this one-day Mini-Summit will bring together health professionals working across the continuum of melanoma management. 

The Melanoma Mini-Summit aims to:

  • share and disseminate knowledge on recent developments
  • discuss pertinent topics
  • promote best practice 
  • connect melanoma expertise across the country and strengthen relationships.

Cost of attending:

$250 including GST for nurses, registrars, dermoscopists/melanographers, students on a recognised training programme, allied health professionals, health promoters

$375 including GST for medical doctors

CME accreditation:

The Melanoma Mini-Summit has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 6.25 CME credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes. 

Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) CPD participants can self-report their activities at 1 point per hour. 

Nurses will be provided with a certificate of attendance as evidence for their professional development portfolio.

Skin Lesion and Dermoscopy course

Presenter: Adjunct Associate Professor Amanda Oakley 

Programme overview: This beginners’ Skin Lesion and Dermoscopy interactive workshop will describe the typical clinical and dermoscopic characteristics of common benign and malignant skin lesions. It aims to increase your confidence in evaluating and referring skin lesions. Attend whether or not you’ve already purchased a dermatoscope.

The cost to attend is $345 including GST.
